This particular paper shows the possible of artificial intelligence (AI) in Li-ion battery getting methods by introducing a new charging algorithm based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). The proposed charging criteria will be able to find an optimized charging current profile, by means of ANNs, considering the current conditions from the Li-ion batteries. To test and validate the proposed approach, the low-cost battery management program (BMS) was developed, supporting up to 168 tissue in series and n cells in parallel. When compared with the multiple stage charging algorithm, the suggested charging algorithm revealed a shorter charging time (7. 85%) and a smaller sized temperature increase (32. 95%). Thus, the results display that this proposed algorithm dependent on AI is capable to effectively charge and balance batteries and may be regarded as the subject of interest designed for future research.
